Covid-19 Restrictions

At present, March 2022, there are no mandatory restrictions on either sailing at Etherow, nor on access to the landing stage and Clubhouse facilities.

You are, however, recommended to observe sensible precautions on hygiene.

Please bring, and use, your own hand sanitiser, and avoid touching work surfaces, as far as practicable.

Please do not come if you believe that you may be at risk, either to yourself or to others.

The Model Yachting Association have published guidance notes regarding competitive sailing during these times. Any club member intending to engage in any such activity should read these notes, and observe all recommendations therein. The guidance notes, in .PDF format, can be downloaded from here.

Obviously, the Committee can not monitor the lake continuously, so we are relying on all members using the landing stage and Club House to act responsibly at all times.
