Work in progress this week

Yesterday forgot the most important thing to tell you all!
What a plonker!.
.............................................................................................
This week the warden's are working on the run off just before the weir all this week and said the water level will be down lower than usual, could be as much as a foot, so will you let your sailors friends who don't have a PC know, can't be helped the work has to be done, ring me if you have any questions!
The work involves re-covering the run off with concrete as its worn away over the years, this involves dropping the water level so the run off is clear.  The head warden Wayne said they will use sand bags to try and keep the water in our lake up as much as possible so might not be too bad for us, still as I said it as to be done and its only a week!, remember Bury club a couple of years ago were out for a whole year!

Just got back from the lake and this is the situation at 13-00hrs Monday!

As you can see there isn't much depth left at the moment, as the yachtsmen know there isn't much to start with. Perhaps there might be a few sunken wrecks showing but how would you get to them?, there won't be enough water for the rescue boat even!.
Here are a few boat pix's to drool over whilst you wait for the water level's to get back to normal

Sent to me by Dave Lee, but I think the boat is Garth's
Thank's Dave and nice one Garth plenty of detail there!.

Lastly here is dedication for you
