First Week in June 2013, 2

This first week in June, I went to the lake on Saturday has posted earlier, Sunday was my trip to Buxton with Bob the Abell and then down to our lake again on Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised to see George Barrett sailing there amongst the regular yacht sailors.
George as had a lot of trouble since he was knocked off his motor bike and broke his ankle a good while ago so it's stopped him sailing.
He had brought his freighter "Cuddington" to the lake and what a beautiful example of modelling it is, as you can see here

   And the video.

This is completely scratch-built even the winches are working model's, the hull is made of that thin metal once used by the printing trade to set their type up on, its called Lithoplate and moulds like thin lead, as you can see on the video a superb model and a credit to him!.
............................................
It was reported to me that there was a good turnout of sailors at the lake last night, the weather certainly brings people out or did some think it was club night?.
.............................................
For the Twitcher's amongst you , the only surviving Greylag goose chick from an earlier post is still around and doing well, that white minder certainly does his job, nearly had Pepe by the scruff of his neck whilst I was taking these pix's.

Gerrr off.
