Danger men at work!.

Went to the lake yesterday (Wednesday 2nd July 2014) as I had heard the work was going to be started on the landing stage edging, purely in my role as, Duckie Teal, News at Ten (am).

With Le Commodore watching over proceedings

Sections being made up ready for drilling and tapping to waters edge, Mike and Geoff seemed to be in charge, though most of the committee were there.
They didn't want to announce the occasion as there wouldn't have been room to move, thats why Wednesday was decided on I reckon!, its usually a quiet day.

Patent maker Geoff

How many more Mike?.

 Tricky bit here.

Nice of the Commodore to tip Mike wasn't it.

Hold it for me lads!.

Right to the end

Alan weiding his big stick, oh no its a brush isn't it, doing his pointing of the flag stones

Nice job Alan, Gardeners World next hey!.

 Any sausage Geoff.

What was that!.

I'll never get home at this rate

Finishing touches and Andy winding down

Gate end, the uprights and string are hopefully going to keep the wildlife off the stage, if it doesn't work Mike says he will take them off again.

Rescue boat end.

Finished job and all cleared up!.
A big thank you to the workers and a superb job!.
