Notice to Members
Within the last two weeks, the Committee have received a number of complaints from members of the public concerning the use of fast electric boats on the lake, with consequent danger to the wildlife on the lake.
Members are reminded that the use of fast electric boats on the lake was banned some years ago, with the exception of Club 500 racing under controlled conditions. This rule was instituted following similar complaints of danger to the wildlife on the lake at that time. This rule is still in force.
The Committee wish to remind all members that this rule will be strictly enforced, and that any member proved to have flouted it is liable to be banned from the Club.
