Easy to use building materials
I'm afraid that you chaps that build model boats have overlooked a very basic building material...
LEGO
Yes that classic children's toy, if used in large enough quantities...
Taken from an article here or go to Google and search for Lego aircraft carrier there are lots of more detailed pictures to be found.

Some Large scale inspiration
Browsing the internet I came across this very interesting article about a training facility that is set up to instruct "real" captains.
It uses a very authentic lake and VERY large scale models, that you sit in !!
It is a very interesting read that can be found HERE
Enjoy !!!

Club Members posting blog entries
This blog is set up to allow club members to add blog entries here. Perhaps you had a good days sailing with some pictures to share. Or have some club news to pass on. You may even need a part or have a boat you would like to sell.
The way it works..
Simply send an email with or without photos attached, to the blog email address and after approval it will appear here as a post automatically formatted.
As we don't want large numbers of "spam" emails being submitted the email address will not be published here, if you would like to make use of this feature just ask me and I will pass it on to you.
Peter.
Welcome
The first post of hopefully many to come.
The idea of the blog is to allow more current content than a website would present. It is also possible to have all members add blog entries via a simple "email in" posting system.
It may take a few days to get things up and running fully but we will get there.
