Rotary At Etherow, 13th Jan 2016.

Rotary At Etherow, 13Th Jan 2016.

Today at the lake, met one of our newish members Lew Wallwork sailing his boat 'Rotary', when asked if it was a kit or scratch built he told me it was scratch built from an old copper boiler!, and the deck was made from an old mantle shelf from his next door neighbour, real re-cycling hey.
As you will see on the video below it runs well and the detail is superb!.
When I'd asked him if it was scratch-built he thought I'd said is it Scrap built!, it will be if he leaves it lying around with copper the price it is today!.
So it was a nice sunny day and an interesting boat to see and video, can't be bad for January.

Had an e-mail from Al the Comm, to the effect that the organiser Mark from Bugsworth Basin where we had two events during 2015, had been in touch to say that High Peak Radio had been mentioning us on the air, so fame again to the club, we have been going from strength to strength the last few years, the committee and of course you members must be doing something right!.

Atheism is a non prophet organisation.

I recently took up meditation. It beats sitting around doing nothing!
