At the lake again, 16.4.2015.
Thursday at the lake again saw a good number of Sailors in attendance.
First there was Al the Comm and his assistant Colin, who had arrived to paint the Container the required Brown to match the rest of the site.
And there you were thinking that they came to the lake to get away from painting and decorating at home.
Still "All play and no work makes Jack a dull boy", I think that's back to front though isn't it!.
Alan taking a break and watching the action, after a job well done and thanks once again to the member who donated the paint!.
Is Bob there getting excited because he's in the lead or been left behind?.
Just showing off my new camera now, with the red filter on, so everything else is in Black and White.
As you will all recognize, John G had his superb fast boat when all the yachts had finished, a bit more excitement for the crowds in the park with the schools still on holiday.
Judge Pepe, back on the bench watching the youngsters having a go, there again he could be watching Alan and Colin in the background going for a sausage break, think that's more like it!.

Don't forget the cafe is closed for refurbishment 20th to 22nd April inclusive, keep thinking it would be nice if they included Free Wi Fi as in most Cafes these days, I have suggested it in the past with no success, still one can live in hope hey!.

Ps
The Coot nesting on the boundary post is still sitting on her nest after the Club 500 racing so that's good, think there are eggs in the nest as well, perhaps it was the boats whizzing past that started her in labour!
Happy sailing in the better weather and longer daylight hours, keep your eyes on the "For sale" section.
